How is the cost of a request calculated?
Charges use input tokens, output tokens, and the corresponding prices shown in the public table. The x-zetaapi-cost response header returns the actual charge in USD.

Does switching from the official OpenAI API require application code changes?
The official OpenAI Python and Node SDKs support a custom base_url, so only the Base URL and API key need changing while the remaining call code stays the same.
How is Claude Code connected?
Set ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL=https://api.zetaapi.ai and ANTHROPIC_API_KEY, load the environment variables, and then run Claude Code.

Are prompts and response contents recorded?
The operator says only metadata such as model name, token count, latency, and status code is retained for 90 days by default. Content logs are kept for 7 days only when debugging logs are enabled by the user.
